Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Inquiry (IJMI). IJMI welcomes Original Research Articles and Review Articles within the journal’s multidisciplinary scope, covering Medical Sciences; Nursing & Allied Health; Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM); Social Sciences; and Education, Language & Linguistics.

All submissions will undergo an initial editorial screening to determine their relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, academic quality, completeness, and compliance with submission requirements. Manuscripts considered suitable for further consideration will normally proceed to double-blind peer review. The final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the journal’s editorial team following consideration of the reviewers’ reports and the academic merits of the manuscript.

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, have not been published previously, and are not simultaneously under consideration by another journal. All listed authors must have made an appropriate contribution to the work and must agree to the submission and authorship of the manuscript. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material, images, tables, figures, datasets, or other third-party content included in their submission.

Research involving human participants, animals, confidential information, or other matters requiring ethical oversight must comply with applicable ethical and legal requirements. Where ethical approval is required, authors should provide appropriate information regarding the approving institution or ethics committee and the relevant approval details.

Manuscripts should be clearly written, academically structured, and prepared according to the journal’s submission and formatting requirements. The title should accurately represent the study, the abstract should provide a clear and concise summary of the work, and the manuscript should present a coherent research purpose, methodology or review approach, analysis, discussion, and conclusions as appropriate to the type of article.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their manuscript, references, data, declarations, and other information provided during submission. Submissions may be returned to authors or declined at the initial editorial screening stage if they fall outside the journal’s scope, do not meet the journal’s minimum academic or ethical standards, or do not sufficiently comply with the submission requirements.

Authors should review the Submission Checklist and all applicable journal policies before completing their submission.
